The new Pumpkin Nights event is kicking off this weekend at the Utah State Fair Park in Salt Lake City and it’s a great destination for kids that don’t like scary haunted houses at Halloween. Open for 17 days beginning Friday, October 13 through Sunday, October 29.
The walking path features lands like Pumpkin Passage—a nod to Harry Potter’s Great Hall, Rum River Pirates—the tropical island land where pirates protect the pumpkin treasure, Dia de los Muertos—where a pumpkin mariachi band serenades visitors, and sugar skulls hang overhead, and The Great Pumpkin Reef—an underwater pumpkin marvel, filled with bubbles, mermaids, and coral! There is an optional scare room if you like the thrill of things jumping out at you in the dark.
In addition to the ten lands along the walking path, Pumpkin Nights will also have seasonal food and beverages, movie screenings, maze, and activities for the whole family! I tried the scone with pumpkin butter and it was SOOO good. But all the treats and hot cocoa looked divine.
Get discounted tickets on Groupon with child admission selling for $13 instead of the typical $17 price tag. You’ll also find better online prices by booking on weekdays, which are likely less busy!
