Have you ever wanted to try hip hop or line dancing, but wondered if it was really for you? Good news! DF Dance Studio is offer free dance class at the Gateway in June for you (and your kids!) to enjoy. All free classes take place at the Gateway in Salt Lake City, taught outdoors for social distancing. So, sign up quick to reserve your spot!
Free Dance Class for Kids
First up, free dance class for your kids! Hip Hop is a super fun and casual dance style, encouraging kids to jump and move with the beat. These 45 minute outdoor classes at Olympic Plaza in the Gateway are a super fun way to keep kids active! With an outdoor venue and plenty of space, they’ll make sure kids are socially distanced. Ages 5-6 will dance on Mondays at 10:00 AM, while ages 8-12 will follow at 11:00 AM.
Kids Hip Hop is on the schedule for June 15th, June 22nd, and June 30th. Pre-registration is required to save your spot!

Free Dance Class for Adults
Social dancing has taken a back seat in the last few months, but it’s time to get back on the dance floor! Every Friday in June at 8:30 PM will feature a social dance lesson at Olympic Plaza. We will learn two popular line dances each week, so you’ll never be a wallflower again! You don’t need a partner and beginners are welcome. Classes are on June 12, June 19, and June 26.

I couldn’t pre register for the 3 Friday evening dance classes for Adults in June
Hi Sue! I was able to register at the link after I created an account. On this page click “Sign Up” and then you’ll be invited to either sign in (they use Mindbody for booking) or create an account. If it doesn’t work for you, their webpage has chat support through a blue button at the bottom right of the screen, or you can message them on Facebook or call them at 801-466-0490. They will help you get it straightened out! Enjoy the class!
